I started Gadzoox in January 2009, I have an unwavering commitment to design and enjoy the process of building and designing websites and eflyers. I understand how expensive it is, having a website produced, and I wanted to make good, creative web design affordable to everyone.

Background and Career History

I was born in Cardiff South Wales in 1970; before retirement my parents were both art teachers, my mother is an accomplished painter and my father a potter. After leaving school I enrolled at Bourneville College of Art in Birmingham to study Photography, I graduated with merit and worked for a short time as an assistant in a photographer's studio in my home city of Cardiff . I then enrolled at Cardiff University to study Graphic Design which became my passion and my career. I graduated in 1992 and started work at Llandough Hospital and Community NHS Trust as a graphic designer in the Medical Illustration department where I learnt my trade. After work at two more local Designers and Printers I settled, 8 years ago, at SET Office Supplies.

Initially I worked as a Graphic Designer in their Print department but after showing interest in Web Design and completing a number of courses I was promoted to a new position within the company as their web designer. I redesigned, rebuilt and looked after all the SET and affiliated companies' websites and implemented a new eflyer marketing campaign which took over from their outdated fax flyer system. During this time I was also taught extensively about IT, computer hardware and software and network systems and now I am SET's technical support engineer as well as their web designer.
